01The short version
We edit your video first. We show you the finished result. You pay only after you have seen it and you are happy. Nothing upfront.
Short-form videos are delivered in 1 day and long-form videos in 2 days, whatever the editing style.
02How it works, step by step
- Brief and quote — you send footage and tell us what the video is for. We confirm the scope, price and delivery in a quote.
- We edit — shorts in 1 day, long videos in 2 days, counted from when we have your complete footage and brief.
- Preview — we send the finished edit as a watch-only (or watermarked) preview. No payment is asked for at this point.
- Revisions — if you want changes, send consolidated notes. We work through them and send a new preview. Still no payment.
- Approval — when you are happy, you tell us the video is approved.
- Invoice and payment — we send an invoice for the agreed price. You pay using the method stated on it.
- Delivery — once payment is received, we release the final files in the formats agreed, and project files on request.
03Delivery times
Short-form: 1 day. Long-form: 2 days. This is the same whether the edit is simple (cuts and captions) or heavy (motion graphics, sound design, colour, effects).
The time is counted from the moment we hold your complete footage and a clear brief, and it pauses while we wait for anything we need from you — missing files, answers, assets or approvals. For batches, retainers or unusually long or complex material, the schedule in your quote applies instead, and we agree it before we start.
“Delivery” means the preview is ready for you to review. If something puts a delivery time at risk, we tell you early, not after the fact.
04Previews
A preview is for reviewing only. It is shared watch-only or watermarked, and it is not licensed for use. Please do not download, publish, forward or post a preview, or use any part of it, before you have approved the video and paid.
The preview, and the edit it shows, remain ours until payment is received.
05Revisions
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds — usually up to three, and always confirmed in your quote. A round is one consolidated set of notes, worked through together; it is not a single change.
Revisions refine the agreed direction: trims, pacing, caption wording, music level, graphics tweaks, colour and similar. A change of direction after notes have been worked through (a different concept, a new structure, a re-cut of the same footage for another platform) is new work and is quoted separately.
Extra rounds beyond those included can be added at a price we tell you before we do the work, so you are never surprised by a revision invoice.
06Quotes and invoices
Your quote states the scope (what, how many, which formats), the price and currency, the revision rounds included and the delivery time. Prices are quoted per project or per agreed package, never as a surprise at the end.
Your invoice states the amount due, any taxes that apply (for example GST where applicable), the due date and how to pay. The payment methods available — such as a bank transfer, UPI or a payment link — are listed on the invoice. Any bank or payment-provider charges on your side are yours to cover.
07When payment is due
Payment is due after you approve the video, by the due date on your invoice. We release the final files as soon as payment is received.
For retainers and monthly arrangements, the billing schedule is agreed in writing at the start, and each deliverable still follows the preview-then-approve process unless the agreement says otherwise.
08Late payment
If an invoice is not paid by its due date, we may pause any other work for you, withhold the final files and project files until it is paid, and — for retainers — suspend the arrangement. We will always remind you first and try to resolve it with you directly.
09If you decide not to go ahead
You can decide not to proceed at any time before you approve the video. Because payment comes after approval, you owe nothing for an edit you did not approve.
In that case the preview and our edit stay with us. You may not use them or the creative ideas in them, and we delete your footage as described in our Privacy Policy. This protects the work of our editors in the same way our payment model protects you.
10Refunds
Because you pay only for a video you have seen and approved, there is normally nothing to refund. If you have paid for a project and we then fail to deliver what we agreed — wrong files, a missing deliverable, a defect we cannot fix — we will correct it free of charge or, if we cannot, refund the part that was not delivered.
If something is wrong with a delivered file, tell us as soon as you can at team.editraa@gmail.com so we can fix it quickly; problems are much easier to put right while the project is fresh.
Refunds are returned by the same method you paid with, where possible. We do not refund for outcomes that depend on things outside an edit, such as how a video performs online.
11Disputes about an invoice
If you think an invoice is wrong, email team.editraa@gmail.com before the due date saying what you believe is wrong. Pay any part that is not in dispute; we will review the rest promptly and in good faith.
12Changes to this policy
Editraa may update this policy. A project already under way follows the version in force when its quote was accepted.
